Needs Finding (Problem Identification)
As I have stressed problems need to be intentified before proper solutions can be determined. I would like to provide this page to any medical practitioners (specifically from/or with experience in developing countries) who have identified problems in developing countries which need to be solved. This form is not meant to be all-encompasing, but it is meant to provide guidelines to what to look for when observing healthcare in developing countries.
The Stanford Biodesign program has become on of the leaders in the field of medical device development. On their Biodesign webpage there are numerous resources to help with the design and development of medical devices. In particular they discuss in great detail the importance of needs finding.
